A Letter to parents regarding covid19

Safety has always been one of our top priorities, and it will continue to be. The CDC has now approved for extracurricular activities to resume, so we don't want to wait any longer! We have missed everyone so much!

New Safety Protocol

As the CDC recommends, we will be practicing social distancing with our classroom seating. We want to encourage parents to sign up for art classes quickly once registration opens, because all classes will have limited seating, so each student can have 6 feet of space between each other. Before entering the studio, students will be required to have their temperature taken, and students’ temperatures must be under 100 degrees. Students with a temperature over 100 degrees won’t be able to attend class at that specific time. We recommend parents check temperatures before coming to Heart Studios in hopes that no child will be turned away. Students and staff must wash their hands upon entering the studio, and before arriving to their workstation. Cleanliness has always been important to us, but we have taken extra measures to sanitize the studio in preparation for re-opening, along with our normal sanitizing of chairs, tables, art supplies, door handles, etc. We will continue to sanitize after every class. Safety is our first priority, and we want to ensure that all students are in a safe environment 100% of the time while in our care. If the CDC recommend in the future that we temporarily close again, then we will follow those recommendations immediately. At this time, we are not going to be having large events at the studio. We are booking virtual paint parties if you are interested, contact us for more information.

We want to thank you for supporting Heart Studios, and we are excited to see all of our students again. We love all the families we work with and are excited to see you all.

Sincerely,

Erica Nkechi
Founder of Heart Studios
