Portrait Drawing Class - 4 Week Course

During this 6 week fine art course, students will learn the dimensions and fundamentals of drawing a realistic face, each student will create masterpieces to bring home. The course is developed for students to dive deep into new creative mediums. This portrait drawing class is offered once a week, at the same time. Students will meet new friends, have fun, and learn something new!  Each student will be awarded a Course Certificate upon completion to mark their milestone in their artistic growth.

This course is taught by our professional Art Instructors, and includes all materials and supplies. In this course, students will primarily use charcoal, graphite, kneaded erasers, rulers, and other supplies to create their artwork. We will be focusing on learning a variety of drawing and shading techniques. Each student will graduate from this course with a well rounded education, experience, and understanding of the basics of portrait drawing.  This course is offered for Elementary - High School students, who are beginner, intermediate, or advanced artists. Older and younger students will be in separate classrooms.

COVID Safety Protocol

As the CDC recommends, we will be practicing social distancing with our classroom seating. Students will be required to have their temperature taken, and students’ temperatures must be under 100 degrees. Students with a temperature over 100 degrees won’t be able to attend class at that specific time. We recommend parents check temperatures before coming to Heart Studios in hopes that no child will be turned away. Students and staff must wash their hands upon entering the studio, and before arriving to their workstation. Cleanliness has always been important to us, but we have taken extra measures to sanitize the studio, along with our normal sanitizing of chairs, tables, art supplies, door handles, etc. We will continue to sanitize after every class. Safety is our first priority, and we want to ensure that all students are in a safe environment 100% of the time while in our care. If the CDC recommend in the future that we temporarily close again, then we will follow those recommendations immediately.
