Our art studio was first launched in 2017 and built to provide an inclusive environment for all students. We provide art classes for kids who are typical, but we also specialize in providing art classes for students who are diagnosed with physical and mental health conditions, have special needs, or are neurodivergent. We prefer not to use the word “disabilities” because we understand that each art student has many abilities and gifts regardless of a diagnosis. Our private art classes are one hour long and focus on the student’s individual goals. Art teachers develop personalized learning plans for each student, where they may create an acrylic still life in one class or stretch a charcoal portrait across several art classes for deeper mastery. Our group art classes for kids range from short lessons to multi-hour or multi-day workshops. Art classes vary from gouache painting, watercolor, oil pastel, colored pencil, mural creation, sewing classes, and everything in between.
